Google CEO posted two pictures of himself to point out the difference between Instagram and reality. Many have made use of the Instagram vs reality concept in the past and Mr Pichai has shared his viewpoint as to how life is viewed on social media in comparison to how it actually is in reality.

The 48-year-old CEO of Google and Alphabet, while shooting for a video, posted the two different pictures from the same day on social media. The first photograph shows the Indian-American dressed in a formal sky blue shirt smiling for the camera. However, the second picture is a full-length candid one and shows him wearing jeans and sneakers while going through his phone in between takes during the video shoot. He posted the caption saying he was shooting for the video while also constantly checking the scores of the Spanish football club team, FC Barcelona.

He wrote, "IG vs. Reality. Comfy shoes + checking on @fcbarcelona scores between takes:)". The pictures since being shared on Instagram have garnered over 2.5 lakh likes and more than 1,500 comments including once from FC Barcelona. The football club wrote in the comments section saying, "Proud to have you on our team,".
