Politics in general, is a very dangerous game with members of opposite parties often hurling abuses and accusations at each other! In Tamil Nadu, despite there being many political parties, the DMK & AIADMK are the biggest and most prominent! The current government has been formed by the AIADMK party and their opponents often point out the fallacies of the government! For quite some time now, TN State Minister of Fisheries - D Jayakumar and the DMK youth wing secretary Udhayanidhi Stalin, have been at loggerheads and have been attacking each other in the media. Last month, Jayakumar accused Udhayanidhi of travelling to Thoothukudi without obtaining an e-pass to meet with the family of Jayaraj & Fenix, in the Sathankulam Custodial deaths case. Udhayanidhi also responded sternly, mentioning that he had indeed obtained an e-pass and that no rules were broken in any way!

Recently, the incident of Ayanavaram auto driver Thandava Muthu burning his own auto, hit the news! Thandava Muthu had been trying to get the FC for his auto from the RTO office, for the past 5 months! Despite repeatedly visiting the RTO office, he was unable to get the FC as they kept giving some excuses or the other. Frustrated at not being able to make any headway, he burnt down his own auto! On coming to hear of this news, Udhayanidhi Stalin invited Thandava Muthu to his house at Alwarpet and gifted him a new auto, recently! DMK MLAs Sekar Babu and Ranganathan and MP Dayanidhi Maran were also present at this event, when Udhayanidhi Stalin gifted Muthu the new auto. Following this, Udhayanidhi Stalin addressed the Press & Media, gathered there!

In this Press interaction, Udhayanidhi Stalin accused the current State Government of Tamil Nadu to be filled with Commission and Corruption. He also demanded that the e-pass method for travel be scrapped. Recently, in a media interaction, Minister Jayakumar had called Udhayanidhi Stalin a chocolate boy! Today, the media brought up this topic to Udhayanidhi and he responded by stating, being a "Chocolate Boy" was not a bad thing and in turn, called Minister Jayakumar, a "Playboy"! We will have to see how Minister Jayakumar responds to this statement by Udhayanidhi Stalin. Stay tuned...
