IAF Chief visits Indo-China border in Leh as Air Force moves into high alert!

The tension has been rising along the Indo-China border in the Leh & Ladakh region and army personnel from both countries have been involved in skirmishes. Loss of life has been reported on both sides of the border and the whole world is watching the proceedings with bated breath. In this situation, we hear that the Indian Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria has reached Leh on an unscheduled visit to oversee the operations of the Air Force, which has placed its fighter aircraft on an operational high alert! All Indian posts along the Indo-China border have been placed on high alert!
Reports state that the IAF Chief had a meeting with Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat and the Army Chief General MM Naravane, before embarking upon his 2-day visit to air bases in Leh and Srinagar. Both these air bases have now stationed frontline fighter jets which have been moved here from South & Central India. We also hear that the IAF has moved its top-range Mirage 2000 fleet as well as Su-30s to areas from where the Ladakh region and the other border regions would be easily accessible. Some reports state that the IAF base in Bareilly has also been placed on high alert for operations around the Tibet region. Stay tuned for updates...
