The results for the secondary school examinations (Class 10) will be released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' made the announcement on Tuesday on his Twitter page saying, "My dear Children, Parents, and Teachers, the results of class X CBSE board examinations will be announced tomorrow. I wish all the students best of luck,".

The results for Class 12 CBSE students were announced on the official website of the board - - on Monday with a total of 88.78 percent students passing the exams. Considering the pending exams for both CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 were cancelled in view of the coronavirus pandemic, evaluation has been carried out as per an alternative assessment scheme. Class 10 CBSE students who appeared for their 2020 board exams can check their results on the official website of the Board -

The results of the Class 10 students will also be available for viewing on the DigiLocker mobile app. Login credentials will be sent to the students via SMS on the registered mobile numbers. Furthermore, the results can be accessed by the students through SMS services. The CBSE Board is expected to release the details of checking results via SMS services on their official website later today. 

CBSE board had officially launched the Post Result Tele-Counselling Facility for the students after the Class 12 results were announced. Likewise, the facility will also be made available to Class 10 students once their results get announced. The tele-counselling facility offers help to students and parents regarding their queries pertaining to CBSE results 2020. Specially-trained and highly qualified counsellors will be providing moral support to students who might deal with psychological issues after the 2020 CBSE board results are announced.
