Thiruvananthapuram: The second Indian patient to come down with the new Corona virus has tested negative in two tests, following which the quarantined youth has been allowed to return home. The patient, who was the second person to test positive in Kerala, was a medical student at the Wuhan University and hailed from Alappuzha in Kerala. He has been discharged from the isolation ward of government medical college in Thrissur, but he will conitnue to be in home quarantine for some time. Though the patient tested positive initially, the retests came back negative earlier this week. Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, who broke the news to the media on Thursday, also said that the other two patients, who continue to be in the isolation ward, were also doing well.
