The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Wednesday issued new guidelines for Unlock 3.0, which will roll into effect from August 1. In the new guidelines, night curfew has been removed while the lockdown will continue to be carried out in containment zones across the country till August 31, 2020. 

The Unlock 3 guidelines state that gymnasiums and yoga centers can resume functioning once again from August 5. However, all schools, colleges and educational institutions will remain closed till August 31. All activities, except the Metro rail services, cinema halls and swimming pools, shall be permitted outside containment zones. 

Unlock 3.0: What is allowed

Restriction on movement of individuals during night hours lifted.
Yoga institutes, gymnasiums to open from August 5. The Health Ministry will issue a standard operating procedure (SOP) in order to ensure social distancing and to contain the spread of coronavirus.
Independence Day functions allowed with social distancing and by following other mandatory health protocols such as wearing of masks etc.
International air passengers allowed under the Vande Bharat mission in a limited manner. More international air services for travellers to be opened in a carefully assessed manner.

Unlock 3.0: What's not allowed

Metro Rail services operations.
Reopening of cinema halls, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars, auditoriums, assembly halls and similar places.
Social/ political/ sports/ entertainment/ academic/ cultural/ religious functions and other large congregations.
