A joint production venture of Supriya Menon and Listin Stephen's Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames, Jana Gana Mana's promo clip teased us the first visuals from the film and showed Prithviraj as a convict being interrogated by Suraj, who plays a cop. Suraj is seen informing Prithviraj that all the evidence is packed against him, with the latter replying confidently that he will walk free.

Apart from Prithviraj and Sri Divya, Jana Gana Mana's cast includes Mamtha Mohandas, Dhruvan, Shari, Shammi Thilakan, Raja Krishnamoorthy, Pasupathi, Azhagam Perumal, Ilavarasu, Vinod Sagar, Vincy Aloshious, Midhun, Hari Krishnan, Vijayakumar, Vaishnavi Venugopal, Chithra Iyer, Benzi Mathews, Dhanya Ananya, Nimisha, Divya Krishna, Josekutty Jacob, Prasad Arumanayakam, Subha Venkat, and Raj Babu among others in major supporting roles. The music for Jana Gana Mana is being composed by Jakes Bejoy, Sudeep Elamon handling the cinematography and Sreejith Sarang taking care of the editing.

With Jana Gana Mana on one side, Sri Divya was last month announced to be a part of her next Tamil film and this time opposite Gautham Karthik. The project being directed by Badri Venkatesh of Baana Kaathadi and Semma Botha Aagathey fame has been revealed to be an out-and-out action thriller, with a lot of emphasis o the female lead, which will come as a happy news for Sri Divya's fans.
