Robert Pattinson's The Batman shooting spot photos and videos go viral

DC Comics and Batman fans are in for yet another massive treat as The Batman, announced for a worldwide release on June 25, 2021 is the eleventh occasion the popular comic book character is getting a film made after previous ventures namely Batman (1989), Batman Returns (1992), Batman Forever (1995), Batman & Robin (1997) followed by Christopher Nolan's hugely successful Dark Knight trilogy, which includes Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008) and The Dark Knight Rises (2012). The Lighthouse actor, Robert Pattinson, known predominantly among fans as the star of The Twilight films, has taken over the role in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) after Ben Affleck portrayed the character thrice in films namely Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Suicide Squad (2016) and Justice League (2017).

Robert Pattinson has put on the cowl with the film being shot under the working title Vengeance and director Matt Reeves recently sharing a camera test video of the actor in the Batman suit as a Valentine's Day treat, which has since gone on to be a major subject of discussion as with any other previous iterations of the pop culture character. Being made by Warner Bros. Entertainment, production on the film has been going on in London, England with photos and videos of a stunt double from The Batman shooting spot now making their way on social networking forums. The Batman will see Robert Pattinson playing the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman alongside Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman/Selina Kyle, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/Riddler, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham City District Attorney Gil Colson, with the character being speculated to be an undercover/fake name for Harvey Dent/Two-Face.
