Chris Wedge is all set to release his next 3D animated film, Epic in Tamil and Hindi. Based on William Joyce's The Leaf Man and the Brave Good Bugs, the film is an adventure-comedy drama, with voices lent by Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Christoph Waltz, Aziz Ansari, Chris O'Dowd, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis, Steven Tyler and Beyoncé Knowles.

The fantasy film revolves around a young girl name Mary Katherine, who lives along with her dad, Professor Bomba and dog in the woods. On odd day, the father doesn't get back from a hike and the worried daughter sets off on a look out for him. On her way she she comes across a group of glowing, falling leaves. Inquisitively she pick up one and suddenly shrinks. The shrunk girl then meets some warriors, known as Leaf men, about whom her dad has studied. The film shows how she assist them in war against the evil Boggans and their leader Mandrake.

Described as a "battle deep in the forest between the forces of good and evil", the film is set to release in India on May 17th, and worldwide on May 24, 2013.
