Hollywood star Christian Bale has said that he is glad and happy about becoming a friend of Late actor Heath Ledger, who won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, for his role as Joker in the movie The Dark Knight (2008). Bale played the iconic Batman role in this master piece created by Christopher Nolan. Bale has said that Heath will always be remembered for his performance, also he feels proud to have worked with him. He said, "He created such a wonderful portrayal, that will always be remembered, and I'm very proud to have been a part of that."
