Avengers fans, ASSEMBLE! It has been more than a year since the world witnessed the original Avengers cast appear together after the gargantuan success of Avengers: Endgame, which is the highest-grossing film of all-time in the world, with $2.79 billion in box office collections. It came as a bittersweet end for Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans' characters as Tony Stark / Iron Man and Steve Rogers / Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) after last year's global blockbuster, with fans bidding the stars farewell, who had been entertaining in their iconic comic book roles for more than 10 years. While it is known that the OG Avengers might not appear on the screen once again soon, an informal Avengers reunion is all set to take place later this week.

As per a report by Deadline, Marvel Studios' Avengers stars namely Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Paul Rudd (Ant Man), Don Cheadle (War Machine) and Zoe Saldana (Gamora) will be coming together for a virtual fundraiser event in support of US Presidential campaign for Democratic candidate Joe Biden. Avengers: Endgame directors the Russo Brothers are hosting the fundraiser, which has been titled "Voters Assemble". Set to take place on October 20, the fundraiser event will include a Q&A session for the stars along with a trivia game. It is well-known that both Evans and Ruffalo have been outspoken against US President Donald Trump’s politics and his policies for a long time and have been calling for voters to cast their votes in the upcoming elections scheduled for November 3.

It has also been revealed that several other notable campaigns in support of Joe Biden are being held with numerous Hollywood stars involved apart from the Avengers fundraiser. One event among them is the South Asian Block Party, which will see stars like Mindy Kaling, Lilly Singh, including Kumail Nanjiani, who will be appearing as the cosmic-powered superhero Kingo Sunen in Marvel's Eternals coming out in theatres on November 5, 2021. Likewise, Captain Marvel and Avengers star Samuel L. Jackson, known for playing the character Nick Fury, has also expressed his support for Biden and had recorded a video earlier appealing to Black voters.
