Pop sensation Ariana Grande is currently suing fashion retail brand Forever 21 by saying that they used a lookalike of her to sell their products. According to various reports the singer and her team alleged that the brand "stole" the singer's "name, likeness and other intellectual property to promote their brands for free." According to the suit filed by her, the documents allege Forever 21 and Riley Rose published at least 30 unauthorized images and videos "misappropriating Ms. Grande's name, image, likeness and music in order to create the false perception of her endorsement."

This sure hasn’t gone down well with all Ari fans who are fuming over this issue. The lawsuit filed also contains images and screenshots from Forever 21’s Instagram page that seem to show stills from Ariana’s work. Some captions also featured lyrics from Grande's song, the suit says. Although these pictures have since been deleted from the brand’s social media handles, it is yet to be seen whether Ariana decides to settle it out with them or not.

Reports also state that Grande is seeking $10 million in damages for copyright infringement, common law trademark infringement and other alleged offenses. Let’s see whether the company looks out for a settlement or fights it out with the 7 Rings singer!
