Retired Kerala Police Chief will take charge as the Kochi Metro MD

The Kerala state cabinet in a meeting held on Tuesday has decided to appoint former Kerala police Chief Loknath Behera as the Managing Director of the Kochi Metro Rail Ltd. The meeting was chaired by the Kerala Chief Minister Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan. Behera had retired from the police force in June this year after completing five years of service. The new appointment in KMRL will be for a period of three years.
