The entire world is battling the deadly COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus Pandemic! The loss of life and the overall effect on economy are devastating but even more frustrating is the fact that even after all this while, there has not been any vaccine or medicine that has been found for this Virus! Teams of researchers and scientists are racing against time to find a vaccine and the renowned Johnson & Johnson company has now revealed that they would be moving into human trials of their COVID-19 vaccine, from the second half of July, which is two months earlier than they originally anticipated.

We hear that the company has already signed contracts with the United States government to manufacture more than 1 billion doses of the vaccine, through 2021, if their trials return successful! The human trials would take place in the US & Belgium and will have over 1,045 healthy volunteers between the age group of 18-55 as well as 65 years and older, participate in it. This trial is expected to assess the vaccine's safety and immune response of the participants. We hear that there are about 10 different vaccines at human trials stage with companies like Pfizer, Moderna, Glaxo Smith Kline, Sanofi and Astra Zeneca all racing towards the final stages of testing.
