It is almost believed by everybody across the world that the COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus Pandemic originated in China with the Wuhan Province being 'Ground Zero'! Also, India and China have been locked in border tension, along the Pangong Lake area in the Ladakh region, on the Indo-China border. These tensions escalated into skirmishes and even resulted in casualties on both sides. Following this, the Indian government also banned a number of Chinese mobile applications including the highly popular short-video sharing TikTok and the wildly popular game PubG, along with many others. Talks are still on between India and China to de-escalate the tension along the border.

Meanwhile, China has now claimed that 2 frozen fish packages imported from China, have tested positive for the Corona Virus. Reports state that China imports frozen fish from India and 2 of these packages from India returned positive tests when checked for the Corona Virus, at Shenyang, in the Liaoning Province. This news has been spreading widely, after a Chinese State-affiliated media - Global Times, made these claims on their Twitter page. Their tweet also mentioned that these packages were tested positive, even before the food products entered the local markets, in China. Reiterating that there was nothing to worry about, the tweet also mentioned that an epidemiologist investigation has begun into this issue and that none of the fish imported in this shipment had entered the local markets!

It was just recently, a couple of weeks back, that China had claimed that three imported frozen food packages had tested positive for the Corona Virus. This happened in the infamous Wuhan Province and the Wuhan Health Commission made these claims. They also went on to state that two of these packages had been from Brazilian beef, which had been stored at a refrigerated warehouse, while the third sample was from a shipment of frozen Basa fish imported from Vietnam. There was also another report of some packages of frozen food imported from Uruguay, testing positive for COVID. Stay tuned for updates...
