As Vijay Deverakonda awaits the release of his upcoming sports action film Liger, which is written and directed by Puri Jagannadh, the Arjun Reddy actor and the ace director are already on track to team up with each other once again for their next venture titled JGM (Jana Gana Mana). Director Puri Jagannadh steps out of his comfort zone with this one and has penned a first of its kind script to offer an action extravaganza for cine goers. While the film was officially announced yesterday on March 28, the title and release date has been announced today.

As announced through this poster, JGM will hit the big screens on August 3rd, next year. The action entertainer is to be a pan Indian film and will be made available to watch in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Puri's production house, Puri Connects, have also released some new images showing Vijay Deverakonda in character and also him posing with what looks like to be the members of the Indian army. It will be interesting to see the duo make the most out of this too just as they did with Liger.

Liger on the other hand is also written and directed by the ace filmmaker and is jointly produced by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar and Puri Jagannadh under the banners of Dharma Productions and Puri Connects. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday while Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishna play supporting roles. The film also stars the world famous boxer Mike Tyson who is set to make his big acting debut in the Indian film industry with this film. This movie will be released in Telugu and Hindi languages and will be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada as well. Vijay Deverakonda underwent a physical transformation for this movie and flew to Thailand to train himself in martial arts to best fit the role as he will be seen as an kick-boxer in this sports drama. Liger is scheduled to hit the screens on 25th August, 2022!
