Tamil filmmaker Vignesh Shivan recently sat down for a heart-to-heart conversation in Galatta Media's new candid interview series, 'Game Changers', which is being hosted by acclaimed and National Award-winning Tamil actress Suhasini Maniratnam. The blockbuster director, who is known for his films Podaa Podi, Naanum Rowdydhaan, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, and Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, opened up on his various life experiences, including how his mother has been a strong pillar of support, how he and his wife and actress Nayanthara's relationship began, and the time he got to spend with actor Ajith Kumar when he was initially working on AK 62.

Despite not being associated with AK 62 anymore and filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni set to direct the upcoming film, Vignesh Shivan revealed how he cherishes the time he got to spend with Ajith when he was a part of the venture. Reminiscing his fond memories of the leading Tamil actor, the blockbuster director said, "He's a very, very humble, normal, rooted person. If you go to his house, he will come and give you water or coffee himself. He's very humble. He makes you feel so comfortable. Whenever I see sir (Ajith), there's an aura always around him that strikes me. Each second and every minute (around him), I keep cherishing. So, whenever I see him or whenever I get a chance to see him or talk to him, when his phone call comes, I feel super. All those moments always make me look at him with such awe and wonder." The Naanum Rowdydhaan director further stated, "Despite being in a high place, the way they make the people on the other end feel is so amazing. And, this is the reason why they have reached such great heights. The love that his fans have for him is not anything out of the ordinary. We all love him because of the way he is."
