Custody is the next big film of director Venkat Prabhu who never fails to try something new in his films. The director is collaborating for the first time with the Telugu star Naga Chaitanya for the film, which is set for a grand theatrical release on 12th May. It marks the first bilingual film of the Telugu actor in Tamil and Telugu. Custody team released a hilarious promo ahead of the promotions during the RCB vs CSK IPL match that became viral on social media and now, the team have released another video announcing the trailer release date of the film. The makers have announced the trailer of the massive cop-action drama will be released on 5th May.

The video features Naga Chaitanya and director Venkat Prabhu. It shows the director entering the dubbing studio and is shocked seeing the hero of Custody there. He then inquired his assistant why Naga Chaitanya is here as Tamil dubbing for the film was scheduled to happen and is then informed that the Telugu actor has said he will dub for the Tamil parts too. The actor also boasts saying Tamil dubbing is in my custody and that he had been in Chennai for 19 years. Venkat Prabhu then says it must be with the Madurai slang of Tamil. It then shows hilarious takes of the hero mispronouncing some Tamil words and Venkat Prabhu trying to correct him but he stands his point. The video then shows the assistant surprising Venkat Prabhu saying the actor has completed dubbing for the whole movie and the film is fully ready.

This video shows that Custody movie is all set for release with the dubbing process complete. The film also has Krithi Shetty playing the female lead with Aravind Samy, Sarath Kumar, Priyamani, Premji Amaren, Vennela Kishore and others in important roles. The film also has songs composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Isaignani Ilayaraja with a background score from Yuvan Shankar Raja.
