Following the humongous box office success of Maanaadu, director Venkat Prabhu is all set for the release of his next movie - Manmadha Leelai which is set to hit the screens on April 1. Manmadha Leelai will clash with Mirchi Shiva's Idiot and GV Prakash's Selfie. The movie has Ashok Selvan playing the lead role and he will be seen romancing three young heroines - Samyuktha Hegde (Comali fame), Smruthi Venkat, and Riya Suman. This romantic drama has music composed by Premgi Amaran. The teaser of the film that released a few days before garnered wide attention, especially among the youth.

The teaser had nothing but only liplocks of the lead actors and it instantly made the fans excited to watch the film. Having said that, the makers have now shared a new glimpse from the movie and this glimpse gives us a sneak peek into the making of the film. We see Venkat Prabhu amidst work alongside Ashok Selvan and others and it looks like the team had great fun shooting the film. Produced by T Muruganantham under the banner of Rockfort Entertainment LLP, this film has cinematography handled by Thamizh A Azhagan and editing taken care of by Venkat Raajen.

Manivannan Balasubramaniam has penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues along with Venkat Prabhu who has directed the film. Stunt Silva has choreographed the stunt sequences. Venkat Prabhu's last directorial venture, Maanaadu turned out to be a phenomenal success, both critically and commercially. The film dealt with the concept of time loop and director Venkat Prabhu effectively packaged the film in a such a way that it kept the audience intrigued and engrossed. Maanaadu is considered to be one of the strongest films from Venkat Prabhu and he is expected to continue the form with Manmadha Leelai as well. An official announcement on his next film after Manmadha Leelai is awaited.
