Hip Hop Tamizha's Veeran is set to strike cinemas everywhere like a bolt of lightning on June 2 and the early buzz for the superhero entertainer has been largely positive based on the talk on social media. Directed by ARK Saravan of Maragadha Naanayam fame and produced under the prestigious Sathya Jyothi Films banner, the expectations for the upcoming film shot up after the release of a fun-filled and action-packed trailer that received a fantastic response from audiences across all ages a few days back. With the songs in Veeran continuing to reign at the top of the charts, the makers have now released a new promo showing the characters in the film trying to find the mystery surrounding the horse that roams during the nights around the streets of Veeranoor village where the story predominantly takes place.
Hiphop Tamizha Adhi will be joined by an ensemble cast in Veeran among whom include newcomer Athira Raj alongside Doctor villain Vinay Rai, Munishkanth, Kali Venkat, Sassi Selvaraj, Chinni Jayanth, among others appearing in pivotal roles. Veeran revolves primarily around Hiphop Tamizha, who gets struck by lightning when he's a teenager, before becoming a superhero. The film's trailer also gave a glimpse of how he employs a horse for his good deeds in Veeranoor and stops the village from many big problems in the process.
Sathya Jyothi Films have been promoting Veeran extensively and the makers are looking forward to a strong opening in cinemas, especially in Tamil Nadu, with the theatrical rightsbeing acquired by Sakthi Film Factory. The film is Hip Hop Tamizha's third film with the blockbuster production banner after the composer-turned-actor had previously collaborated for Sivakumarin Sabadham (2021) and Anbarivu (2022), and he will be looking to hit the bullseye this time. Veeran is also director ARK Saravan's second film after his horror comedy directorial debut, Maragadha Naanayam, which went on to become a major critical and commercial success in 2017.
