A photo exhibit that shows the documents the 70 years of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin was launched for his birthday by veteran actor Kamal Haasan on February 28. Following its launch in Chennai the photo exhibit titled ‘Engal Mudhalvar, Engal Perumai’, The exhibit was announced to be launched in various cities across the state. As the exhibit was launched in Madurai on 19th March, ‘Vaigai Puyal' Vadivel inaugurated the photo exhibit. The well-known comedian toured the venue set up on around 2-3 acres of land in Madurai city.

'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu also met reporters and spoke about the event after touring the Photo Exhibit on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. Vadivelu said it's very astonishing to see the photo exhibit and everything in the event is true. He said MK Stalin has grown despite struggles and has become a leader. He added the exhibit has photos of the leader with every important person including Jayalalithaa, MGR, and important people across India and wished him belated birthday wishes.

The iconic comedian then went on to reveal some exciting information about a project that was shelved. When reporters asked which part of the exhibit he liked the most, 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu said "we have all heard about the struggles that CM Stalin face when he was arrested during the MISA period and was sent to prison but watching the model set up here in prison was great". He then went on to say that ”Udayanidhi Stalin was to star in a film that was based on the incident, directed by Kamal Haasan. Udhayanidhi Stalin was to act in the role of Stalin but, he has announced that Maamannan, in which I have acted with him, will be the last film. As the movie is shelved now if the movie was made people would have known the struggles that Stalin went through." When asked if he would act in the film if it was revived, The actor said "even Kamal Haasan said only Udhayanidhi Stalin can do the role, So we can only hope some day he would do it."
