Chandramukhi 2 is a sequel to 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's blockbuster hit film Chandramukhi, which was released in 2005. The film is directed by veteran filmmaker P. Vasu and has a huge ensemble of cast, with Raghava Lawrence and popular Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut in lead roles. 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu, who recently stunned his fans with his performance in Maamannan, is also appearing in an important role in the film. Lyca Productions, which is bankrolling the film, has shared a short glimpse video showing trendsetting comedy actor Vadivelu dubbing for his parts in the film as the character Murugesan. The video shows the actor arriving in his car and features a couple of dialogues by the comedy actor from the dubbing suite. It also features intense music and ends with the announcement that the actor has completed dubbing.

Earlier this month, The makers of Chandramukhi 2 Lyca Productions shared that actor Raghava Lawrence had begun dubbing for the film. Now, they have announced that 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu has completed dubbing for his role and have hinted that he could be reprising one of his iconic roles, Murugesan. This shows the film is getting ready for a release on Vinayagar Chaturthi. The film also has music composed by Oscar-winning composer M.M. Keeravani. He revealed that he saw the film recently and said he would add life to the mind-blowing scenes.
