Raghava Lawrence's Chandramukhi 2 went on floors last week and the shooting is currently progressing at a brisk pace in Mysore. Vaigaipuyal Vadivelu will be essaying a pivotal character in the film and his comedies are surely going to be a delightful treat for the fans. Earlier this evening (July 20), Radikaa Sarathkumar who plays a crucial supporting character in the film, took to her official Twitter page to share a new video from the sets of Chandramukhi 2 and the video has instantly turned viral among the fans. The video features Vadivelu enacting the famous Sura comedy scene and we see Radikaa and Lawrence enjoying the act in live.

Produced by A Subaskaran under the banner of Lyca Productions, Chandramukhi 2 has music composed by the legendary MM Keeravani whose songs and background score in the recent blockbuster RRR was raved by the critics and audiences. Directed by P Vasu, the film has cinematography handled by RD Rajasekhar and art direction taken care of by Thotta Tharani. Details regarding the release plans of Chandramukhi 2 are yet to be known but reports are that the film is likely to release in summer 2023.

Apart from Chandramukhi 2, Vadivelu is also a part of Mari Selvaraj's Maamannan, starring Udhayanidhi Stalin, Keerthy Suresh, and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles. Maamannan has music composed by A.R.Rahman.
