One of the leading actor-producer and politicians of the Tamil film Industry is Udhayanidhi Stalin. The actor had confirmed that Maamannan will be his late acting project as he was sworn in as the Tamil Nadu Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development in December. Maamannan has created huge anticipation amongst the fans as it's the next project of talented writer and directed by Mari Selvaraj, who was the mastermind behind critically acclaimed and blockbuster hit films Pariyerum Perumal and Karnan. The film has a star cast that includes Keerthy Suresh, Malayalam actor Fahad Faasil and 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu. They posted photos of 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu with Mari Selvaraj in a dubbing studio and said “Our Favourite Vadivelu sir starts dubbing for Maamannan”. This shows that the post-production work of the highly anticipated film is in work at a rapid phase. The couple of photos were enough for fans to begin raging about the trendsetting Comedian and actor. Maamannan will also have music composed by AR Rahman. The shooting of the project was wrapped up on September 12, 2022, and the cast and crew celebrated the birthday of Vadivelu on sets.
