The much-awaited Thor: Love And Thunder official teaser is here. And, it's everything Marvel fans have hoped for. Set to open in theatres worldwide on July 8, the highly-anticipated Marvel Studios venture directed by Taika Waititi will see Chris Hemsworth returning as Thor, but goes on to declare that his "superhero-ing" days have concluded. In the process, the beloved Norse god makes an attempt to rediscover himself in New Asgard, with the help of Tessa Thompson leading the Asgardians as Valkyrie, Chris Pratt is returning to play Peter Quill / Star-Lord with the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy before the teaser ends on a high note with a major surprise in the form of Natalie Portman reprising her role as Jane Foster, who appears in the form of the Goddess of Thunder, otherwise known as Lady Thor.

Thor: Love and Thunder is the fourth Thor film, after Thor (2011), Thor: The Dark World (2013), and Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU) Phase Four. The upcoming film's teaser has several major highlights like Chris Hemsworth getting back to his original shape, followed by the Guardians of the Galaxy making an appearance, and last but not the least, Natalie Portman wielding the magical hammer, Mjolnir, and transforming herself as The Mighty Thor. One aspect of Thor: Love and Thunder is Christian Bale, who remained unrevealed, and is portraying the super-villain Gorr the God Butcher. The film is expected to pick up from the events of Avengers: Endgame when Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy flew off into space and it will be interesting to witness them return to Earth to meet Valkyrie after appointing her as the new king of New Asgard.
