It has been a busy week for 'Thalapathy' Vijay's fans after a line of updates from the Tamil superstar's upcoming film, LEO, were announced. With the actor currently shooting for the upcoming gangster venture in Kashmir under Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction, his latest film, Varisu, released as a grand Pongal treat, is still running in theatres and continues to draw audiences in numbers. The family entertainer directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced under Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations banner also featured smash hit songs and a thunderous background score composed by Thaman. S, who turned out to be one of the biggest pillars in the film's stellar success.

With Varisu as a film and the songs receiving a phenomenal feedback from fans, Thaman has now announced yet another big treat up ahead. The chart-buster composer took to social media on Saturday, February 4, to drop the update that the much-awaited original soundtrack (OST) of the film will be released soon. Sharing a clip from the chart-topping hit 'Thee Thalapathy' song featuring Vijay, Thaman wrote on Twitter, "#VarisuOst On it’s Wayyyy !! Let’s Celebrate this #BlockBusterVarisu". After the songs had come out, fans had been looking forward to listen to the hit composer's work in Varisu, with his background score turning out to be nothing short of sensational after the film's theatrical release.

Varisu is the first film for Thaman with 'Thalapathy' Vijay and fans have been showering their praises on the composer for delivering a highly-enjoyable album. The film has collected more than 250 crores in worldwide collections and is set to continue its magical theatrical run for some more time, with the OTT release also expected to be announced next. Vijay was seen in Varisu alongside Rashmika Mandanna, who played the female lead, while R.
