'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo is being filmed in Chennai over the past few days and the next leg of shooting is set to commence in the first week of May. Being directed by blockbuster filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj under hit producer S. S. Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio banner, the upcoming film touted to be a mass action thriller will feature an ensemble star cast that also includes filmmaker Mysskin in a crucial role. Mysskin, who previously made a small appearance in the 'Old Model Laila' song in Vijay's Youth (2002), spoke about Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj, and his filming experiences with the duo in Leo at the 2023 Tamil Producer Sangam Elections earlier today.

Addressing the press at the Tamil Producer Sangam Elections, Mysskin said, "Leo is coming out extraordinarily. I'm appearing in a small role, but it's an interesting character. I feel happy having spent time with Vijay after so many years. My younger brother (Vijay) took good care of me and was very affectionate. He hasn't changed over these 20 years. The same love was there. It was a big surprise. And, I need not say much about Lokesh Kanagaraj because he's a sweet boy. He treated me with high regard." When queried whether the film will be high on action, the filmmaker-actor confirmed saying, "That's definitely going to be there. When Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj come together, what else can we expect? It's a very interesting film, actually." Upon being asked about his own next directorial, Mysskin revealed that he's working on a project to be produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu.

Although not much is known about Mysskin's role in Leo at this point, he had revealed sometime back that he will be appearing in an important fight sequence alongside Vijay. The filmmaker-actor is one among the several big names in the film's cast that also includes Trisha playing the female lead, followed by Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt, 'Action King' Arjun, Gautham Menon, Priya Anand, choreographer Sandy master, Mathew Thomas among others, with the music being composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
