The highly anticipated trailer of Thalapathy Vijay's Beast was out yesterday and it has hyped up the expectations of the audience, serving its right purpose. The trailer looked terrific, loaded with intense action moments. The trailer gave us a glimpse of what the film is going to be about - Veera Raghavan (Vijay), a secret RAW agent is on his mission to rescue innocent people who are held as hostages in a shopping mall by a group of terrorists. Vijay's charismatic presence and stylish action moves garnered wide attention among the fans and made them look forward to watching the movie.

The trailer has already set high expectations and it looks like Beast will take an earth-shattering opening at the box office. While the trailer was released on YouTube, it was also made available to be screened in many theatres across Tamil Nadu. The theatre exhibitors arranged for a free trailer screening show that witnessed fans in large numbers gathering for celebrations. Rohini Silver Screens in Chennai arranged for a grand event that witnessed thousands of fans celebrating the trailer and witnessing their favourite hero in action.

Similarly, Ram Muthuram Cinemas in Tirunelveli also arranged for a special trailer screening that had fans thronging the theatres to experience the trailer on the big screen. However, something unfortunate happened during the celebration. Several seats in the theatre were damaged and broken during the Beast trailer screening and the visuals of the damaged properties have garnered wide attention on social media. The doors were also broken. Ram Muthuram Cinemas, however, has not issued any statement in this regard. While the excitement of the fans is understandable, it is indeed unfortunate and sad that such amateur things still happen during the release of a big star film.

Produced by Sun Pictures, Beast is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila and Doctor fame and has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Pooja Hegde plays the female lead in this flick that has Selvaraghavan in a pivotal role, alongside VTV Ganesh, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, Redin Kingsley, Sathish, Sunil, Aparna Das, and others.
