Tamannaah Bhatia has been the talk of the town of late and was grabbing headlines on Tuesday, July 25, after an old photo showing her reportedly owning the fifth-largest diamond in the world took social media by storm. It was reported that the diamond ring had been gifted to the leading actress by Telugu superstar Ram Charan's wife Upasana Konidela in 2019 for her performance in the film, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, and was estimated to be valued at Rs 2 crore. With the picture going viral, Tamannaah was quick to issue a clarification yesterday evening denying the reports, while adding that the said diamond was nothing more than a bottle opener that she was posing with during a photoshoot.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Tamannaah posted the viral photo and wrote, "Hate to break it to you but we were doing a photo shoot with a bottle opener and not an actual diamond #GirlsLikeToClickPics." Social media had been abuzz with the news of the actress owning the world's fifth-largest diamond yesterday and her latest clarification dismissing the false news has no doubt put an end to the spreading rumors.
