'Superstar' Rajinikanth is one of the top-tier actors who has fans across India, his upcoming release is Jailer and he is also playing an important role in Lal Salaam directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajnikanth. Recently, the actor was caught on camera in the Arunachaleswarar temple in Thiruvannamalai. The popular actor was seen in the historic temple getting blessings from the residing deity and many photos by fans and paparazzi have become viral. A video also shows the actor being escorted to his car amidst huge crowd of fans who gathered. It is speculated that the star actor was in Thiruvannamalai for the shooting of the film Lal Salaam in which he is playing the character of Moidheen Bhai.

Lal Salaam has Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead role and is directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The producer of the sports entertainer Lyca production revealed the first look and name of the character played by 'Superstar' Rajinikanth last month and it became viral. The filming of the movie, which will also have music composed by Oscar Award-winning composer A.R. Rahman, has been happening at different cities including Mumbai and they recently wrapped up a schedule in Pondicherry. From the video and photos, reports have stated that the filming of the movie has moved to Thiruvannamalai.

The upcoming release of the stylish and iconic actor 'Superstar' Rajinikanth is Jailer which will be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film has a huge star cast with top actors from other film industries roped in including Mohanlal, Dr. Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Pushpa fame Sunil. The film will also have music composed by Anirudh Ravichander and the makers have announced that the film will release on August 10. It is also speculated that an announcement about the first single release from the film is expected to drop tomorrow.
