Jailer is the anticipated next film of 'Superstar' Rajinikanth that is helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar under the big banner of Sun Pictures. As the fans anticipated an announcement of the release of the first single from the film, the makers have also teased an update on social media. The production banner has shared a short video of music composer Anirudh Ravichander and Nelson from the first single announcement video that was released for Doctor. The 5-second long video shows Nelson saying to Anirudh Ravichander how much ever time he asks he was the music composer about a song for the film. The production house has teased fans with the caption saying “Andha (that) first single”.
The hit music composer 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander has replied to the tweet with a photo of Rajinikanth from Annamalai that shows him holding up four fingers. The music composer has shared the same picture on Instagram and said “Thalaivar Rajinikanth entry in four days”. This shows that either an update or the first single from the film can be expected in four days.
Director Nelson Dilipkumar has shared a glimpse from the making of the song saying “For now a photo has come”. It shows Anirudh looking intently at his monitor in his studio with his technicians behind him.
Now, all eyes are set on the day when the first single from the film will be released by the makers in four days, which could be July 4 or 5. Jailer has the hit combo of Nelson Dilipkumar and Anirudh Ravichander back for the fourth time and the first single from all the films of the director so far has had lyrics written by his friend and actor Sivakarthikeyan. But, it is not clear if Jailer will also have a song written by the Maaveeran actor. The film also has a huge star cast and is scheduled to release in theatres on August 10.
