Super Singer Season 9 launched earlier this year came to a grand finish on Sunday, June 25, with the latest edition seeing Aruna Ravindran being declared the title winner. The season finale saw the singing sensation lift the Super Singer Season 9 winner's trophy, while also collecting a cash prize of Rs. 10 lakhs. Aruna also went on to win a flat worth Rs. 60 lakhs and was felicitated with prizes by music director Harris Jayaraj, who was the chief guest at the singing reality show. During her speech, Aruna extended her gratitude to everyone for their support, while also thanking her guru and her mentors for guiding her on the path to the big success she has achieved.

With Aruna Ravindran being crowned the title winner of Super Singer season 9, Priya Jerson was announced as the first runner-up and took home a cash prize of Rs. 10 lakhs, followed by Prasanna being declared the second runner-up, who was awarded Rs. five lakhs. Apart from Harris Jayaraj joining the smash hit reality show as the chief guest, popular singers Anuradha Sriram, P. Unnikrishnan, Benny Dayal, and Shweta Mohan were the judges, who presided over the proceedings for the evening, with Makapa Anand and Priyanka Deshpande playing as the hosts.
