They have now revealed the release date of the film, The makers have said that the movie that has Sundar C playing the lead will be released in theatres on June 23rd. The film is a sequel to the hit film Thalai Nagaram was directed by Suraaj and was released in 2006. The sequel is written and directed by Dhorai V.Z.
Thalai Nagaram 2 is produced under the banner of Right Eye Theatres and is also produced by the director of the film Dhorai V.Z. with S.M. Prabakaran. The film also has Sixer fame Palak Lalwani playing the female lead. While actors Thambi Ramaiah, 'Baahubali' Prabhakar, Aayira, Jaise Jose, Vishal Rajan and Seran Raj are in important roles. The filmmakers had made some notable films like 6 had Shaam in the lead role, Yemaali with Samuthirakani, etc The film also has music composed by Ghibran and E. Krishnasamy as the director of photography. The film also marked the second collaboration between the director and actor combo after Iruttu, which was a horror film.
