SS. Rajamouli's upcoming film RRR has been highly anticipated for a long time now after he had formally announced the film 4 years back in March 2018. The film managed to gain such traction and build a major hype around it given its immense star cast, the director's reputation and calibre, etc. The film is all set to hit the screens now in just 2 more days on March 25.
With the film on its way to the theatres, the film's team, including Ram Charan, Jr. NTR and Rajamouli himself, are gearing up for its big release by taking up certain responsibilities. Of those responsibilities, promotion campaigns are the main and most important ones because of its massive impact on the public which attracts more people to come and watch their film. The team recently carried on with their promo events in various cities of the country including Bangalore, Jaipur, Amritsar, and more.
Media interactions at such times are always present and during one of these exclusive promotional events, the questions forayed into Kollywood. As questions were shot back and forth across the room, the interviewer asked director Rajamouli, "What is a recent Tamil film which got to your attention in a good way?", to which the directly jokingly said, "I have not watched a movie in 4 years". He quickly continued his thought saying, "Master was a good film. Anirudh's music in that is like....terrific. The rerecording parts and everything was like, were all very good". Can this mean one day the ace director would be willing to work with the star music composer? Only time shall tell....
The upcoming period action drama film, RRR, is helmed by S. S. Rajamouli and produced by D.V.V. Danayya of DVV Entertainments. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan while Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, Olivia Morris and Shriya Saran play supporting roles. Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt will also be seen making their extended cameo appearances. The film is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively.
