Mirchi Shiva’s Single Shankarum Smartphone Simranum sneak peek released by makers, as the film is set to hit the theatres this weekend. The sneak peak features Shiva, singer Mano who plays father of the lead, Ma Ka Pa Anand and KPY Bala. The comedy entertainer film is directed by debut director Vignesh Sha and it’s teaser was launched two weeks back. Leon James, who is known for his melody number, has composed music for the project, with Arthur A Wilson handling cinematography. The plot of the film revolves around a food delivery guy (Shankar) who gets hold of an phone with AI named Simran that has emotions of a girl and events that happen when the guy falls in love with the AI.
The two-and-half-minute sneak peek shows a conversation between Mirchi Shiva as Shankar and his father who converted to Christianity for his love and a thrilled Ma Ka Pa Anand enters complaining about his wife cheating on him. All this goes on while KPY Bala eavesdrops from outside the house and misinterprets the conversation. The producer of Single Shankarum Smartphone Simranum, K. Kumar under Lark Studios announced the trailer of the film would be released at 6 PM today. Megha Akash has voiced the AI in the film and Anju Kurian, Rajendar, Ma Ka Anand, KPY Bala have played supporting roles.
Mirchi Shiva, who was a popular RJ, is known for doing comedy entertainers and has acted in some popular films like Chennai 6000028, Tamil Padam, Kalakalappu, Vanakam Chennai, etc. Because of his role in the successful spoof film Tamil Padam and Tamil Padam 2 he was called by his fans as Agila Ulaga Superstar. As it’s been more than a year since the release of his previous film Sumo comedy fans are looking forward to the release of Single Shankarum Smartphone Simranum on February 24, 2023.
