S.J. Suryah is a versatile actor who has acted in many hit films and entered the film industry as a director. The filmmaker has done many successful films over the years. The next film of the actor that is set to release in theatres is the psychological drama titled Bommai. The film is helmed by director Radha Mohan with Priya Bhavani Shankar in an important role. It also has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is released in theatres on June 16. The film has created a huge excitement ahead of its release.

Galatta Media organised a Fans Festival for S.J. Suryah ahead of the release of Bommai. In a special segment, Karthik Subbaraj shared about the actor in a video message. He said “If there is any sister or mother sentiment, he will get overwhelmed. He would ask me If we can like that, I will say It is not needed, sir. He is a very emotional person. If there is a scene where he drinks, he will give that glass to his assistant in a wrapped tissue. If someone else takes it he will ask it to be washed and then handed to him, that will be very funny for us. He has told me many things about Bommai and I wish all the very best for him for that."

As a reply, S.J. Suryah said “Now, If I am known as a great actor, he was the one who initiated it with the character Arul in Iraivi." He then said “I will be sincere in anything I do. My weakness is, emotion is my weakness and there should a strength to carry that. I will be true to all my commitments and that's why I stay away from it sometimes." As the anchor then asked about OCD, "OCD means Obsessive Compulsion Disorder. If there is a glass I want it to be clean, I will see to it's clean and my mind will go deep into it.
