S.J. Suryah is a director turned actor who has been acted in important and antagonistic roles in many hit films. He has also played the lead in many interesting films like New, Monster. The upcoming movie of the actor that is set to release in theatres is titled Bommai which has been in the pipeline for a long time. The film marks the reunion of the actor with Priya Bhavani Shankar and is helmed by filmmaker Radha Mohan who is known for making feel-good entertainers. The actor also has an interesting lineup of films including Mark Antony where he acts alongside actor Vishal, Jigarthanda Double X with Raghava Lawrence and Game Changer with Ram Charan

Galatta Media, a leading media organisation, organised a fan festival for the celebrated actor S.J. Suryah. As a part of the event, he shared some exciting details in the interview session that happened in his car. When asked how his performance in films were influenced by others, the director said "sometimes, we meet people in the hotel, even I see films in theatres. so, the reaction of people there, Apart from that in the shooting spot, other than co-stars, there will be assistant directors. I would do mimicry of their behaviour." and said that has influenced him. "Majority of events I see, I absorb it and when it needs it comes out. In the cinema theatre, or the big actors I have met like Raghuvaran sir, Oorvasi madam. actors like them sometimes, without knowing will influence us."

When asked about his first fan encounter, S.J. Suryah said he began acting in New, as a perfect professional actor and when it was released, not just one person, the entire Tamil Nadu was onto him. "That magic I still cannot understand. Boys would come and hug me and I was like what's happening? My brother-in-law did not want me to act. One day after the release we came in the car and a girl and her boyfriend crossed us in bike and she started screaming S.J. Suryah sir. My brother-in-law exclaimed 'oh looks like you have become a hero.'" said S.J. Suryah.
