Maaveeran is a recent film starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role and was released in theatres on July 14. Three days after the release of the film, The makers of the movie have revealed that the film has crossed an huge milestone in box office collections. The makers have revealed that the film has grossed Rs.50 crores worldwide. The makers have shared a new poster celebrating the milestone and said “Big Thanks and Gratitude to SK fans, cinema Audience and press & media for making Maaveeran/Mahaveerudu a blockbuster." (sic)
Yesterday, the makers revealed that Maaveeran is a blockbuster hit and now, this new announcement shows the film has grossed Rs. 50 crores in three days. Many fans have shared their wishes to the actor Sivakarthikeyan and team and some have also stated that the next stop for the film is Rs.100 crores. Reportedly, the film has collected over Rs. 20 crores in Tamil Nadu state box office collections.
Maaveeran is said to be a fantasy film with action that has an intriguing ensemble of cast. Apart from Sivakarthikeyan the film also features Aditi Shankar Playing the female lead, Mysskin as the antagonist, Veteran Actress Saritha, Yogi Babu, Telugu actor Sunil, Cook With Comali fame Monisha and others in important roles. The film also has a special voiceover by ‘Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi in Tamil and hit actor Ravi Teja in Telugu. It marks the second directorial venture of Madonne Ashwin after the National Award Winning debut film Mandela which had Yogi Babu in the lead role. It also has music composed by Bharath Sankar. Now, fans are looking forward to the film reaching another box office record.
