Following the phenomenal success of Maanaadu, all eyes are on Silambarasan TR's next outing which will be Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, the Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial. After the commercial box office success of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa and Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, the magical trio of Silambarasan TR - Gautham Vasudev Menon - A.R.Rahman are back together and the fans have already pinned high hopes on VTK. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu will showcase Silambarasan TR in a never before seen dimension and the posters and teaser showed us a glimpse of the same. Simbu will be seen playing the character of Muthu. Siddhi Idnani who will be making her debut in Tamil cinema with Harish Kalyan's Nooru Kodi Vaanavil plays the female lead in Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu and she will essay the character of Paavai.
Radikaa Sarathkumar, Siddique, and Appukutty play supporting roles in this film that is bankrolled by Dr Ishari K Ganesh under the banner of Vels Film International. Having said that, the makers have now officially confirmed the presence of one more actor and the update has garnered buzz on social media. Popular Malayalam actor Neeraj Madhav has been roped in to play a pivotal role and his character is said to have significant importance in the film's screenplay. Neeraj Madhav will be playing the character, Sridharan, in VTK and he is said to have got some interesting combination sequences with Simbu.
We already saw a short glimpse of Neeraj Madhav in the teaser of VTK that released a few months back, but the official announcement came from the makers only yesterday. Neeraj Madhav is best known for his role, 'Moosa' in the Amazon Prime Video web series, The Family Man. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu has cinematography handled by Sidhartha Nuni, while the editing and art direction departments are headed by Anthony and Rajeevan respectively. The film is almost complete with just a few more days of shoot left for the full wrap-up.
