Shruti Haasan has been dating Santanu Hazarika, a Delhi-based doodle artist, for quite some time. On social media, they have been open about their relationship. The couple celebrated Valentine's Day on Tuesday, February 14, with the actress posting a photo of herself with Santanu, while also penning a romantic note for him. Sharing the black and white picture, Shruto wrote, "🖤 you are the best - you have my 🫀- you’re always on my 🧠you are my â˜€ï¸ and my 🌚 I’m the luckiest girl ever @santanu_hazarika_art." Several close friends have been sending in their wishes to the couple, who have been together for more than a year now.

Shruti Haasan, who is one of the leading names in South Indian cinema, made her Bollywood debut in 2009 with the film, Luck. She has starred in several big Tamil films like 7Aum Arivu with Suriya in 2011. Shruti later appeared alongside blockbuster actors 'Thalapathy' Vijay in Puli and in Ajith Kumar's Vedalam. The last time she acted as a heroine in Tamil was in Laabam, starring Vijay Sethupathi, and most recently appeared in the Telugu blockbusters, Veera Simha Reddy, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya, which were released for Sankranthi.
Shruti Haasan will next be seen as in Prabhas' Saalar, which is being shot in Kannada and Telugu simultaneously under KGF franchise fame Prashanth Neel's direction. Bhuvan Gowda is the cinematographer and Ravi Basrur is composing the music for the upcoming film being produced by Vijay Karanthur's Hombale Films. Salaar will hit screens on September 28 and also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, among others, with the makers reportedly employing Dark Centric Theme (DCT) technology to shoot the film, making it the first Indian venture to do so.
