Actor Sathyaraj who has acted with Vijay in many films addressed the press today. When asked his opinion about the recent movie of the Leo actor Sathyaraj said “It is a good initiative by Vijay” and stated he would talk about the political entry because the actor had not spoken about it.

As a reporter asked about 'Thalapathy' Vijay's advice for students to read Ambedkar, Kamarajar, The veteran actor said "it's nice that brother Vijay listed Periyar, Ambedkar and Kamarajar as examples." Sathyaraj added he is a person who is looked up to by many youngsters, so, what he said made them happy. When asked about the actor smoking in the new poster from Leo, The actor said “Actors would have to change for the character.” he then stated that he was acting as a villain in a recent film and had to smoke for that role and the dialogues that are spoken in a film are just for the story and said “In Makkal En Pakkam film, I acted as a smuggler and spoke positively about smuggling, but it is wrong." He also mentioned that in Walter Vetrivel he played a good character "So we have to change according to the character."
