Sardar released in theatres on October 21 for the festive occasion of Diwali and it turned to be a big hit among the masses, fetching positive reviews from the audiences. The film is inching closer towards the 100 crore club and exciting days are ahead at the box office. Sardar is directed by PS Mithran who bounced back in data-style with his conviction to make a high concept action thriller that is strong on content and entertainment.

That said, the producer of Sardar, S Lakshman Kumar has now gifted director PS Mithran a luxurious Toyota Fortuner car and the update regarding the same has surfaced on social media. Karthi gifted Mithran the car and the pictures from their gifting ceremony have turned viral among the fans. This indeed tells us that producer S Lakshman Kumar and Karthi are elated with the reception of Sardar and PS Mithran must be a happy man for sure. Sardar is an action based spy thriller which features Karthi in dual roles, one as a spy named Sardar, and another as a police officer named Vijay Prakash.
