It has been officially announced that the first look poster of Santhanam's next film, tentatively called Santa 15, will be unveiled on August 31, marking the festive occasion of Vinayakar Chaturthi. The update regarding the first look release was shared by the makers this evening (Aug 23) and it has made the fans look forward to the big reveal. The announcement was made through a poster that piques our curiosity and it looks like an interesting film is on the cards. This untitled film is currently in the post production stages, getting ready for a theatrical release very soon.
Santa 15 is directed by Prashant Raj who is one of the popular filmmakers in Kannada cinema, and he will be making his debut in Kollywood with the Santhanam starrer. The shooting of the film was completed in a quick pace, in a span of two months from April to June and the team seems to be in no mood for rest. Dharala Prabhu and Thadam fame Tanya Hope and Ragini Dwivedi play the female leads in this comedy entertainer. Leading Kannada music director Arjun Janya will be foraying into Tamil cinema with Santa 15 and the songs are expected to be out soon.
Santa 15 is produced by Naveen Raj under the banner of Fortune Films. Santhanam was last seen in the recently released comedy drama, Gulu Gulu which was directed by Rathna Kumar of Meyaadha Maan and Aadai fame. Santhanam is also awaiting the release of Agent Kannayiram in which he will be seen playing the role of a detective. Agent Kannayiram, directed by Manoj Beedha of Vanjagar Ulagam fame, is the official Tamil remake of the super hit Telugu film, Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya. More details are awaited.
