Lokesh Kanagaraj became one of the talked-about names in the film industry with continuous blockbuster films from his debut Maanagaram, then Kaithi, Master to last year’s Vikram. The director has created his own cinematic universe with Kaithi and Vikram and fans have termed it as LCU. For his next project, the talented director has collaborated with 'Thalapathy' Vijay again and updates for the project was released in the beginning of this month. It is known that the cast and crew of Leo are shooting the film in Kashmir and photos posted by the crew on social media has been going viral with fans decoding every tiny detail to know if the film is a part of LCU.

Rathna Kumar, one of the co-dialogue writer of LEO and a friend of Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has been associated with all of his project, posted a photo on his Instagram profile. The photo posted shows Rathna Kumar petting a dog against the snowy backdrop of Kashmir. The talented writer posted the photo with the caption “Please don’t decode. It’s a simple photo of me caressing a Dog, That’s it". It's because his last photo with a broken lens of a sunglass initiated a speculation among fans that Vijay Sethupathi could be part of the LCU franchise and the film set before the events of Vikram. Though the writer has asked fans not to decode comments under the post show the fans' excitement.

The upcoming film Leo is to be released on Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada and will have 'Thalapathy' Vijay with Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, 'Action King' Arjun, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Mathew Thomas and dance Choreographer Sandy in leading roles. The film will have music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The title promo of the film featuring 'Bloody Sweet' Vijay also went viral.
