A section of media had recently reported that Rajinikanth was denied a visa to travel to Sri Lanka. This reports were strong enough and the fans weren’t sure about the credibility of the news. The rumour has now been officially cleared and it has been clarified that Rajinikanth was never denied a visa to travel to Sri Lanka. Namal Rajapaksa, Sri Lankan Member of Parliament (M.P.) and one of the sons of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, took to his official Twitter space to clarify the rumour. In his tweet, he assured that Rajinikanth will face no hindrances if he expresses his interest to visit Sri Lanka.

Also, Namal mentioned that he is a great fan of Rajinikanth and his films. The rumours were put to rest after Namal’s clarification on Twitter. It can be noted that Superstar Rajinikanth recently made it to the headlines for his controversial speech at the 50th year anniversary event of the Thuglak Magazine.
