Raghava Lawrence is a notable actor who can pull off mass action scenes, and hilarious comedy scenes, emotional scenes and can set the stage on fire in dance numbers. Rudhran is a recent film of the actor that is currently running successfully in the theatres. The film saw the reunion of the hit combo of Sarath Kumar and Raghava Lawrence after Kanchana which was released a decade ago. The film was directed by one of the leading producers of Tamil cinema Five Star Kathiresan and had Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead.

Raghava Lawrence recently interacted with his fans in a special Fans Festival organised by Galatta Media. The actor shared some interesting details about his family and his friendship with celebrities including ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay and his upcoming projects in the interview. The host asked about his film Pandi in which he acted alongside the late comedian Mayilsamy. Talking about the late comedian, The actor said “It's a huge loss. I feel like we have lost a devotee. One can talk about god for a long time only if they have experienced it. We have talked about Thiruvannamalai (temple) for about 2 hours. He will become happy when we begin talking about god itself. About Charity, he has presented me a great photograph of MGR sir. If someone is in dismay, he would call and ask as if he needs help. He will say 'Lawra (Lawrence) a family is going through a bad time I have said you will give the money, so give them. That is it. He has that privilege over people. I was in Hyderabad when he died. I was shocked just like anybody else. All the good things, he thought of doing; let's do it too, only then his soul will rest in peace.”

Famous comedian and actor Mayilsamy died in February and his death was a huge shock to his fans, movie buffs and the Tamil film fraternity. The actor died at the age of 57 due to cardiac arrest.
