Acclaimed film-maker-actor Mysskin has announced that he has wrapped up filming his portions in Thalapathy Vijay's LEO under Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction. Cast in a crucial role, the hit director released a statement on social media on late Sunday evening, February 26, informing fans, "I am returning to Chennai from Kashmir after wrapping up my portions for LEO. More than 500 hardworking crew members endured -12 degree weather to complete my portions. Stunt masters Anbariv have skillfully choreographed an excellent fight sequence. The love and affection showered upon me by the ceaseless hard work of the assistant directors has surprised me. Producer Lalit too was working in the cold winter at the shooting spot as a fellow technician."

Mysskin further stated, "My Lokesh, as a well-trained director, is working like a solider with love and precision on the field. After my last scene was shot, he hugged me and I kissed him on his forehead. I feel happy acting alongside my beloved brother Vijay in this film, and I will never forget the affection he has given me. Leo will be a massive success." Mysskin has made several acclaimed films like Chithiram Pesuthadi, Anjathe, Nandalala, Yuddham Sei, Onaayum Aattukkuttiyum, Pisaasu, Thupparivaalan, Psycho, and is currently awaiting the release of his next directorial, Pisaasu II. Prior to LEO, the filmmaker had also appeared in notable roles in films like Savarakkaththi and Super Deluxe, and it will interesting to witness him in action on the big screen alongside Vijay. Being produced by Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio banner, LEO will feature music by Anirudh Ravichander and is the composer's second collaboration with Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj after the trio worked in Master, which was a monstrous box office success in 2021. The upcoming film also sees Vijay and leading actress Trisha reunite on the big screen after 14 years, with the supporting cast also featuring names like Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt, 'Action King' Arjun, Gautham Menon, Priya Anand, choreographer Sandy master, young Malayalam sensation Mathew Thomas among others.
