MS Dhoni's first big Tamil film, Let's Get Married, marks the former Indian skipper and star cricketer's debut as a producer. Produced under the superstar cricketer's Dhoni Entertainment Pvt Ltd (DEPL) banner, the upcoming film will see Harish Kalyan and Ivana as the lead pair and has been directed by debutant Ramesh Thamilmani with post-production works currently underway. Sharing the Let's Get Married second look poster, which also features the additional cast members namely Nadhiya Moidu, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Srinath, RJ Vijay, Deepa Shankar, Vinodhini Vaidynathan, among others, Harish Kalyan on Saturday revealed that the film's much-awaited teaser will be coming out soon.
This latest update regarding the Let's Get Married teaser has come ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 finals between the Chennai Super Kings team being captained by MS Dhoni and the Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans. CSK fans will no doubt be looking forward to the team and the 2011 World Cup-winning captain emerging triumphant once again and lifting the IPL trophy for the fifth time, which will no doubt be the perfect treat before the launch of the family entertainer's teaser in the days ahead. We can expect Dhoni to promote Let's Get Married extensively after the IPL once the film is ready for its theatrical release in the upcoming months.
Apart from the ensemble star cast, MS Dhoni's production venture Let's Get Married also includes a skilled technical team among whom are Viswajith Odukkathil, who is known for his cinematography in Malayalam films like Hridayam, Mukundan Unni Associates, and Gold, and editor Pradeep E. Ragav, whose cuts in Kathakali, Tik Tik Tik, and Comali garnered him praise. Harish Kalyan will be looking to come out on top after the success of films like Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum, Dharala Prabhu, and Oh Manapenne!, while Ivana, who became a darling of the masses after last year's blockbuster, Love Today, will hope for a similar success once again.
