Former Indian skipper and star cricketer MS Dhoni, who led the Chennai Super Kings franchise to its fifth championship victory in the recently-concluded 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), is making his debut as a film producer in Tamil cinema with the highly-anticipated Let's Get Married. Being produced under the Dhoni Entertainment Pvt Ltd (DEPL) banner, the upcoming romantic comedy stars Harish Kalyan and Ivana in the lead roles under debutant Ramesh Thamilmani's direction. With post-production works currently underway and an exciting teaser released a few days back, the Let's Get Married team has now announced that the much-awaited first single titled 'Salana' will be released on June 15.

Director Ramesh Thamilmani is also the music composer of Let's Get Married and the 'Salana' song will feature lyrics written by Madhan Karky. Expectations are high for the film considering it marks MS Dhoni's maiden venture as a producer in Tamil, with the CSK captain's wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni and Vikas Hasija serving as producers. The Let's Get Married teaser released last week gave audiences a glimpse at the fun ride that awaits them in theatres as it revolved around Harish Kalyan and Ivana's plans to get married followed by a sequence of events, with Nadhiya Moidu, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, RJ Vijay, Deepa Shankar, Vinodhini Vaidynathan, Pujitha Devaraju among others forming the ensemble cast.

Let's Get Married has a bundle of talent apart from the big star cast that includes a highly-skilled technical team starting with cinematographer Viswajith Odukkathil, who is best known for his work in Malayalam films Hridayam, Mukundan Unni Associates, and Gold, while the editing is being handled by Pradeep E. Ragav, who garnered appreciation for his cuts in Tamil in Kathakali, Tik Tik Tik, and Comali to name a notable few. Apart from the brand 'Dhoni' attached to Let's Get Married, the film is an important one for Harish Kalyan, who will be looking to top the success of his previous films like Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum, Dharala Prabhu, and Oh Manapenne!, while Ivana will aim to hit the bullseye for the second consecutive time after the spectacular response to last year's Love Today.
