Well-known Producer, S.Sashikanth is set to make his directorial debut with the film The Test. The film has created huge excitement among fans as the film is set to feature actor Madhavan, Nayanthara and Siddharth in lead roles. The makers of the film had also announced that the project will have music composed by singer Shakthisree Gopalan who is known for her heart-melting voice which was recently featured in the hit melody composed by A.R. Rahman, Aga Naga. Now, the makers have announced another important addition to the film. The makers have said that Meera Jasmine will be a part of the Test. The production house bank-rolling the film has Tweeted that "Happy to welcome on board, the super-talented Meera Jasmine."
The announcement has created a huge excitement among fans. The Test will mark the comeback of the actress to Tamil after 2014 when she acted in the films Inga Enna Solluthu and Vingyani. She then acted in selective Malayalam language films and his most recent project was Makal. The actress has acted alongside Madhavan and Siddharth in the hit-film Aayutha Ezhuthu which was directed by Mani Ratnam. So, this has raised questions and created an anticipation if the onscreen pair will be back again.
The Test is set to be the 23rd venture of YNOT Studios and it is set to be a pan-Indian venture that will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam language apart from Tamil. It is speculated that the film will be a sports-related film that revolves around cricket. The producer has made many interesting films over the years including Tamil Padam, Vikram Vedha, Mandela, Jagame Thandhiram and so on. With the hit combo of Siddharth, Madhavan, Nayanthara and Meera Jasmine on screen The Test has surely created an interest among fans.
